| Reverse description | Two Canopi facing one another at center, their characteristic vase-shaped bodies with zoomorphic lids rendered in raised relief within a dotted border. A crescent symbol appears between the bodies of the two figures, serving as a religious and calendrical emblem. The Canopic jars, sacred vessels associated with the funerary cult of Osiris and the god Canopus, are depicted with the distinctive swollen forms and decorative banding typical of Alexandrian iconography. The regnal year numeral L Ϛ (year 6) appears in the field, serving as the primary dating element for this issue. |
