Additional information

Nacrasa was a minor Lydian city whose civic coinage is so sparsely documented that even its precise location remains disputed among classical geographers — most candidates place it somewhere in the Hermus valley, but no definitive archaeological site has been confirmed. The magistrate name partially preserved in the legend, Milon, appears in at least one other Nacrasen issue, suggesting a term of office spanning multiple emissions rather than a single coin type. The "ΤΟ Β" designation — indicating a second tenure — was a common honorific practice in Asia Minor's Greek cities under Roman administration, where local strategi often funded civic coinage personally as a form of euergetism.
