| Descrizione del dritto | Cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, laureate-free and bare-headed, with characteristic long beard and flowing curls, facing right and rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective. The imperial effigy displays fine detail in the treatment of the muscled cuirass and the folds of the military cloak. The obverse legend, disposed in the field around the bust, reads ΑΥ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΥΡΗ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature in Greek script. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The Emperor Marcus Aurelius, bearded and clad in full military attire, stands facing left, engaged in the act of erecting a trophy — a motif emblematic of military victory. He holds a short sceptre in his left hand while raising the trophy with his right. At the base of the trophy, a bound female captive is seated to the right, a conventional personification of a conquered people or province. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, reads ϹΤΡΑ ΑΥΡΗ ΠΡΕΙϹΚΙΑΝΟΥ ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ ΝΕΟΚΟ, referencing the strategos Aurelius Priscianus and the neokorate status of Cyzicus. |
