| Schrift voorzijde | Greek |
| Opschrift voorzijde | ΑΥ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΥΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | Poseidon seated to the left upon a throne, his feet resting upon the prow of a ship, a common iconographic attribute associating the deity with maritime dominion. In his right hand he holds a dolphin (partially legible), and in his left hand he holds an upright trident. The encircling Greek legend in the field names the local magistrate (agoranomos) Stratophilos of Poroselene, under whose authority the issue was struck. The design reflects the civic pride of this Aegean island community and its association with sea-based commerce and mythology. |
