Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic full beard. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the legend disposed in a circular arrangement around the periphery within a beaded border. The portrait displays the distinctive bearded physiognomy associated with Macrinus, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period.
