Obverse description Bare-headed bust of the Emperor Hadrian facing left, rendered with finely detailed curled hair and a short beard in the characteristic Hadrianic style. The portrait, truncated at the shoulder, displays the emperor's effigy with strong facial modelling typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The Greek imperial titulature is disposed in two segments around the periphery of the flan, reading from upper left through the field.
