Reverse description A Greco-Egyptian temple facade depicted in frontal view, framed by two tall columns supporting an entablature surmounted by a semicircular arch with a central decorative element. Within the intercolumniation stand two canopic jars — the distinctive mummiform vessels associated with the funerary cult — facing one another, their rounded lids and ornate bodies clearly rendered. The date regnal legend L ΙΗ (Year 18) appears in the field. The composition reflects the syncretistic religious iconography characteristic of Alexandrian civic coinage under the Antonine emperors.
