Reverse description Poseidon standing left, his right foot raised and resting upon a rocky outcrop, holding a dolphin downward in his right hand and a long trident upright in his left. The god is rendered in the classical Hellenistic tradition favored by Alexandrian die-cutters, with a muscular, semi-nude figure. The regnal date legend L ΙϚ appears in the field, denoting the sixteenth year of Hadrian's reign in the Egyptian calendar. The reverse field shows the characteristic broad, flat style of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage.
