Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays characteristic Hadrianic portraiture with a short beard and finely rendered laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Imperator Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus. The style is consistent with the Alexandrian mint's workshop tradition of the second century AD.
