| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing left, depicted with characteristic short beard and draped shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style, with the laureate wreath clearly visible atop the head. The surrounding Greek legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |
