Reverse description A classical distyle temple depicted in elevation, its two columns framing a seated figure of Sarapis enthroned and facing left, the deity wearing a modius (grain basket) upon his head and holding a sceptre. To the left of the temple, Cerberus, the three-headed guardian of the underworld, is shown as an attribute of Sarapis. The date legend appears in the field, referencing the 19th regnal year. The composition reflects the syncretistic religious iconography characteristic of Alexandrian coinage under Hadrian.
