Obverse description Laureate bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, with bare right shoulder and chest visible and drapery over the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic short beard and idealized features associated with Hadrianic portraiture. The surrounding legend in Greek characters identifies the emperor by his imperial titulature, disposed around the periphery of the flan.
