| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted three-quarter from the rear in the characteristic late Roman provincial style. The effigy presents the emperor in full military attire, with paludamentum draped over the cuirass. The Greek legend encircles the bust, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ Π ΛΙΚ ΓΑΛΛΗΝΟϹ in the outer field, with Ϲ-ΕΒ divided on either side of the bust. The coin shows heavy wear with encrustation consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD. |

| Reverse description | Octastyle temple depicted in elevation, raised on a podium of three steps, with a patera or decorative motif within the pediment. Within the intercolumniation, a cult statue of Zeus, possibly identified as Zeus Pandemos, is shown seated to the left, extending a Nike figure in the right hand and resting the left hand upon a tall sceptre. The architectural rendering reflects the Hellenistic temple-type commonly employed on civic bronzes of Phrygia during the Imperial period. The ethnic legend ϹΥΝΝΑΔΕΩΝ is disposed around the reverse field. |
