| Obverse description | Draped and diademed bust of Empress Salonina, wife of Gallienus, facing right, with elaborately styled hair adorned with a diadem, wearing a chiton with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of Phrygian civic coinage, with the portrait occupying the central field. The encircling Greek legend reads ΚΟΡΝΗΛΙΑ ϹΑΛΩΝΕΙΝΑ, distributed around the bust within a beaded border. |

She holds a ship's rudder in her extended right hand, symbolising guidance and destiny, and a cornucopia (horn of plenty) in her left arm, signifying prosperity. The field is flanked by the Greek civic legend ΕΥΜΕΝΕΩΝ ΑΧΑΙΩΝ distributed to either side of the figure, with the year numeral Ϛ (year 6 of the local civic era) also present.
