Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Empress Salonina, wife of Gallienus, facing right, with elaborately styled hair adorned with a diadem, wearing a chiton with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of Phrygian civic coinage, with the portrait occupying the central field. The encircling Greek legend reads ΚΟΡΝΗΛΙΑ ϹΑΛΩΝΕΙΝΑ, distributed around the bust within a beaded border.
