| Obverse description | Jugate busts right of Titus, cuirassed and laureate, in front, and Domitian, laureate, behind; the two imperial heirs face rightward together in a conjoined portrait arrangement typical of dynastic Flavian coinage. The legend encircles the busts in Greek characters, naming both ΤΙΤΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ and ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟϹ as Augusti-designate under the formula ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ. The engraving reflects the provincial die-cutting style of Caesarea Paneas, with bold if somewhat rough portraiture characteristic of eastern Flavian civic bronzes. |
