| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, depicted with a long beard, clad in cuirass and paludamentum, the drapery visible from the rear in a three-quarter back view. The imperial effigy is rendered in the characteristic style of provincial bronze coinage of Mysia. The obverse legend encircles the bust in Greek characters, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. |

| Reverse description | Two divine personifications are presented in opposing composition: to the left, Nike advances to the right, her figure in motion, holding a palm-branch in one hand and a wreath in the other, emblems of victory; to the right, Tyche stands facing left, wearing a kalathos (modius) upon her head, and holding a rudder in one hand and a cornucopia in the other, symbolising fortune and prosperity. The reverse legend, naming the local magistrate Apollonios and the city of Hadrianeia, runs in the field around the figures, with the final two letters potentially retrograde. |
