| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, depicted with a long beard, clad in cuirass and paludamentum, the drapery visible from the rear in a three-quarter back view. The imperial effigy is rendered in the characteristic style of provincial bronze coinage of Mysia. The obverse legend encircles the bust in Greek characters, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. |
