| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Commodus, with long beard, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, facing right and seen from the rear. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the mature provincial style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage of the Antonine period. The surrounding field carries the Greek imperial titulature legend. The flan is irregular, with visible edge irregularities consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production. |
