| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and fastened in a small bun at the nape with a queue descending onto the neck, a characteristic Severan court coiffure. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style, with the legend encircling the bust in the field. The effigy follows the standard iconographic type associated with Julia Domna as Augusta during the Severan period. |
