Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, portrayed seen from the rear, a characteristic three-quarter back view presentation typical of Severan-era provincial coinage. The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the cuirass, conveying imperial military authority. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field.
