| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the truncation of the neck. The emperor is depicted with a full beard rendered in fine detail, characteristic of his portraiture. The surrounding Greek legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan, partially worn. The flan exhibits irregular edges consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period. |
