| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing left, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style, with broad facial features and a finely detailed laurel wreath. The surrounding Greek legend reads in part around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and worn, with some surface porosity, but the imperial effigy remains identifiable. |
