| Description du revers | Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, crowned with the kalathos and wearing a taenia, presented in the syncretic Hellenistic-Egyptian style typical of Alexandrian coinage. Beneath the bust, an eagle stands to the right with head turned to the left and wings spread, serving as a divine attribute of the deity. Two stars appear in the field, one on each side of the composition, emphasizing the celestial character of Sarapis. The regnal year legend appears in the field, dating the issue to Year 17 of Antoninus Pius's reign. |
