Obverse description Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, facing right and seen from the rear, rendered in the distinctive Alexandrian provincial style. The emperor's effigy occupies the central field, with the cuirass musculature and shoulder drapery rendered in moderate relief. A Greek imperial legend runs around the periphery identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The flan is notably irregular, characteristic of Egyptian provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period.

Reverse description Draped bust of the ram-headed deity Ammon facing right, crowned with a solar disk atop his horned head, rendered in the syncretic Graeco-Egyptian artistic tradition. The bust occupies the central field, with the characteristic curling ram's horns flanking the deity's face. The regnal year inscription L ΙΗ (year 18) appears prominently in the right field. The reverse fabric is typical of Alexandrian bronze issues, with a somewhat flat relief consistent with heavy circulation.
