Obverse description Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with finely rendered hair and laurel wreath visible around the crown. The emperor's portrait is depicted in the mature Antonine style characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage, with a prominent jaw and defined features. A circular Greek legend surrounds the effigy, running along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the irregular, somewhat broad flan typical of Alexandrian drachm-series bronzes of this period. Surface shows an olive-green patina with areas of reddish bronze visible beneath.
