| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, with characteristic short beard and naturalistic portrait rendering typical of Antonine-period Alexandrian coinage. The effigy is shown with draped shoulders, the portrait occupying the majority of the flan. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, partially visible along the upper and right periphery of the coin. The die work reflects the competent but distinctively provincial style of the Alexandrian mint. |

| Reverse description | Isis Pharia depicted standing and advancing to the right, her billowing sail caught behind her in the wind, held aloft in her extended right hand, while her left hand holds a sistrum. Before her in the right field stands the Pharos of Alexandria, rendered as a multi-tiered lighthouse tower, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and an iconic emblem of the Alexandrian mint. The date regnal legend L Η appears in the lower field. The scene is rendered in the characteristic Hellenistic-Egyptian style of provincial Roman bronze coinage. |
