| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Alexandrian mint, with finely detailed wreath leaves encircling the crown. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic mature features, including a short beard and draped paludamentum visible at the truncation. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy along the periphery of the flan, partially incomplete due to the irregular striking characteristic of Alexandrian bronzes of this period. |

| Reverse description | Heracles performing his Sixth Labour against the Stymphalian Birds, depicted standing to the right, clad in the Nemean lion skin draped over his left arm and bearing a quiver at his back; he is shown in the act of drawing his bow and loosing an arrow upward toward the monstrous birds, some of which appear in flight and others on the ground to the right of the hero. His club rests behind him to the left. The scene is rendered in the dynamic, narrative style favoured by Alexandrian die engravers, with the regnal-year date L Ε (Year 5) positioned prominently in the field. |
