Reverse description Draped bust of the syncretic deity Hermanubis facing right, wearing a kalathos (basket crown) atop his head, symbolising his dual Greco-Egyptian identity as a fusion of Hermes and Anubis. A palm branch is depicted before the bust in the left field, a common attribute in Alexandrian religious iconography. The regnal date legend appears in the field. The reverse field is otherwise plain, and the design is executed in the characteristic style of the Alexandrian provincial mint under Antoninus Pius.
