Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style with softly modeled features and a wreath of laurel leaves crowning the brow. The portrait is set within a circular field, with the surrounding Greek legend partially legible along the outer rim. The effigy displays the characteristic drapery at the truncation of the neck. The coin's surface shows considerable wear and patination consistent with heavy circulation, partially obscuring the finer details of the portrait.
