Reverse description Homonoia composition depicting the Tyche of Hierapolis and the winged Nemesis of Smyrna standing facing one another, each extending a hand in a gesture of clasping (dexiosis); between the two figures stands an altar. The scene commemorates the formal alliance (homonoia) between Hierapolis and Smyrna, with Smyrna identified by the epithet Neokoros (temple-warden). The reverse legend is distributed in two registers around the field.
