The effigy displays the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and visible cuirass detailing, consistent with the military presentation typical of mid-3rd century Phrygian provincial bronze coinage. The obverse legend, partially visible around the periphery of the somewhat irregularly struck flan, reads ΑΥΤ Κ Γ ΟΥΙΒ ΤΡΕΒ ΓΑΛΛΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. |

Between the two figures, a flying eagle appears in the upper field, symbolizing divine favor, while a lighted altar occupies the lower central field between them. The composition reflects the strong local civic pride characteristic of Phrygian colonial coinage under the High Empire. The ethnic legend ΑΚΜΟΝΕΩΝ curves around the reverse field, identifying the issuing city. |
