| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic portraiture of the Trajanic period. The laureate wreath is clearly visible atop the emperor's head, and the bust displays paludamentum or drapery over the left shoulder. A Greek legend encircles the effigy within the border of the flan. |
