| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, depicted from behind, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated atop the head. A Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production of the Severan period. |
