Obverse description Draped bust of Plautilla facing right, depicted with elaborately coiffured hair arranged in ridged waves, characteristic of her Severan-era portraiture. The effigy shows the empress in imperial dress with drapery visible at the shoulder. A beaded border encircles the type.
