The two deities are depicted in a formal confrontational composition typical of provincial civic coinage, symbolising divine patronage of wisdom, victory, and agricultural abundance. The reverse legend ΑΜΙϹΟΥ ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΑϹ ΕΤ ϹΜΑ appears in the field, denoting the free city of Amisus and the civic year 241 (corresponding to 209–210 AD). |
