Beschrijving voorzijde Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II Caesar facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with the radiate crown clearly visible above the portrait. The emperor's paludamentum is fastened at the shoulder, and the cuirass is depicted with fine relief detail. The Greek legend encircles the bust, running along the periphery of the flan. The portrait reflects the provincial die-cutting style of Mysian workshops during the mid-third century AD.

Beschrijving keerzijde The river god Rhyndacos is depicted reclining to the left in a languid, classical pose, his right arm resting upon a ship's stern (aphlaston) and his left arm leaning on an overturned urn from which water flows, symbolizing the river's source. The figure is semi-nude, with drapery across the lower body, and the composition conveys the personification of the local river deity central to Apollonia ad Rhyndacum's civic identity. The Greek ethnic legend of the city runs around the reverse field. The style is consistent with provincial bronzes of the Mysian conventus under Philip I.
