| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the truncation of the neck. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic Antonine style, with a finely detailed laurel wreath crowning the head and a short beard. The encircling Greek legend occupies the outer field, reading from left to right around the effigy.
