| Obverse description | Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the truncation of the neck. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic Antonine style, with a finely detailed laurel wreath crowning the head and a short beard. The encircling Greek legend occupies the outer field, reading from left to right around the effigy. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of Alexandrian civic bronze coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | A kalathos (basket or grain measure) set upon a garlanded throne, depicted tilting slightly to the left; the arms of the throne are supported by bird figures, likely eagles, in a characteristically Alexandrian religious composition. The design is symbolic of Sarapis or Alexandrian cult imagery. The regnal date legend appears in the field. The overall reverse composition is typical of the rich iconographic repertoire employed by the Alexandrian mint under the Antonines. |
