Obverse description Laureate head of Lucius Verus facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the truncation of the neck. The portrait is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the emperor's characteristic full beard and wavy hair beneath the laurel wreath. The Greek legend surrounds the effigy, reading partially around the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily worn, though the portrait type remains identifiable.
