| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Marcus Aurelius facing right, wearing paludamentum over the shoulder. The effigy displays the characteristic bearded portrait of the emperor in the Antonine style, with a laurel wreath crowning the head. The Greek legend partially visible around the periphery identifies the emperor by his imperial titulature. The flan shows slight irregularity consistent with hand-struck provincial coinage of the Alexandrian mint. |

| Reverse description | The goddess Isis, crowned and enthroned, is depicted seated to the right in a hieratic pose characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. Upon her knee rests the infant Harpocrates, wearing the double crown (skhent) of Upper and Lower Egypt, his right hand raised in the traditional gesture of childhood and divinity, while holding a lotus flower in his left. Before the seated figures stands an Egyptian altar, emphasizing the syncretistic religious iconography that was a hallmark of Alexandrian mint production. The regnal year legend appears in the field. |
