| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate and cuirassed bust of Diadumenianus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic back-bust presentation typical of provincial coinage of this period. The pauldrons and musculature of the cuirass are rendered in relief, conveying imperial military authority. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially worn but legible. The portrait style is consistent with Severan-era provincial die-cutting traditions from the Pergamene conventus. |
