| Reverse description | Asclepius, the god of medicine, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left. The deity is shown in long robes, his right hand resting upon the knotted serpent-staff (caduceus of Asclepius), the serpent coiling upward along the staff. The figure is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition common to Alexandrian coinage, with the date legend inscribed in the field. The reverse field is partially worn but the iconographic details remain identifiable. |
