| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Emperor stands erect in a four-horse chariot (quadriga) advancing to the right, holding the reins; a winged Nike figure hovers above and to the right, reaching forward to crown him with a wreath. The four horses are rendered in vigorous motion, their forelegs raised. A multi-line Greek dedicatory legend naming the local magistrate Alexandros II occupies the field and border, a formulaic honorific type typical of Phrygian civic coinage of the Severan and Gordian periods. |
