Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, displaying the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and the segmented cuirass in characteristic provincial style. The laureate wreath is clearly rendered atop the imperial portrait, with curled hair visible at the temples. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer border of the obverse field, divided by the bust. The portrait displays the typical stylistic conventions of Phrygian provincial coinage of the mid-third century AD.
