| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two tetrastyle temples facing each other across a shared elevated podium or platform, depicted in three-quarter perspective to emphasize architectural depth. Each temple is surmounted by a wreath, signifying neocorate honours awarded to Laodicea ad Lycum under both Commodus and Caracalla (Antoninus). The reverse composition is an exceptionally rare double-neocorate type, commemorating the city's two grants of the title. The encircling legend in Greek identifies the city and its dual neocorate status. |
