| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a laurel wreath crown and bare or lightly draped shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular, hand-struck flan of Roman Provincial bronze issues from the mid-second century AD. |
