| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style with broad flan and somewhat coarse engraving. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the surrounding Greek legend partially visible along the periphery. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the mid-second century AD. Surface wear is heavy, though the portrait type remains identifiable. |
