Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy is depicted with characteristic beard and laurel wreath, with drapery visible on the shoulder. A beaded border frames the design. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan, which shows the irregular edge typical of provincial bronze coinage of the Antonine period.
