| 背面描述 | Zeus Salaminios depicted standing, facing the viewer, holding a patera in his extended right hand as if in the act of libation, while his left hand rests upon a short sceptre; an eagle, the divine attribute of Zeus, is perched upon his left arm. The composition reflects the syncretic Cypriote religious tradition identifying the local cult deity with the Olympian Zeus. The encircling legend names the issuing authority and the regnal year of issue. |

The Koinon of Cyprus — the provincial assembly representing Cypriot cities under Roman administration — held the unusual privilege of issuing its own bronze coinage, a right tied directly to the island's status as a senatorial province administered without a Roman legion. Year 8 of the Cyprian era used here corresponds to 75–76 AD, placing this issue squarely within Vespasian's consolidation of Flavian dynastic authority following the upheaval of 69. RPC II 1530 is among the heavier provincial bronzes of the eastern Mediterranean, and surviving examples show considerable variation in centering due to the Koinon's comparatively modest striking infrastructure at Paphos.
